The 2022 ward/branch conference schedule has been updated. There have been no changes to the dates, which remain as follows:

Jan 16: Iwakuni
Jan 23: Yokota
Jan 30: Tokyo 1st & 2nd
Feb 13: Yokosuka
Feb 20: Misawa
Feb 27: Zama

Schedule

Please note the event schedule for January conferences (Iwakuni, Yokota, Tokyo 1st, Tokyo 2nd) has been updated, as follows:

Iwakuni, Yokota [UPDATED]

Iwakuni Branch conference and Yokota Branch conference will be entirely on Zoom. Church will operate in a 3-hour block schedule, as set forth below.

2 hours before block: Bishopric / Branch Presidency Meeting (0:30)
1.5 hours before block: Ward / Branch Council Meeting (1:00)
1st hour: Sacrament Meeting at regularly scheduled time
2nd hour: Primary and Elder's Quorum (two breakout rooms)
3rd hour: Relief Society, Youth, and Clerk (three breakout rooms)
30 minutes after block: ministering visits (max 2:00)

Tokyo 1st, Tokyo 2nd [UPDATED]

Tokyo 1st and 2nd Ward conferences will be entirely on Zoom. Church will operate in a 3-hour block schedule, as set forth below. Note that the Tokyo 1st ward schedule has been delayed by 1 hour in order to allow for time to complete the Tokyo 2nd Ward conference schedule.

7:00 a.m.: T2 Bishopric Meeting (0:30)
7:30 a.m.: T2 Ward Council Meeting (1:00)
9:00 a.m.: T2 Sacrament Meeting
10:00 a.m.: T2 Primary and Elder's Quorum (two breakout rooms)
11:00 a.m.: T2 Relief Society, Youth, and Clerk (three breakout rooms)
12:30 p.m.: T1 Bishopric Meeting (0:30)
1:00 p.m.: T1 Ward Council Meeting (1:00)
2:30 p.m.: T1 Sacrament Meeting
3:30 p.m.: T1 Primary and Elder's Quorum (two breakout rooms)
4:30 p.m.: T1 Relief Society, Youth, and Clerk (three breakout rooms)
5:00-7:00 p.m.: Ministering visits for T1 and T2

Yokosuka, Misawa, and Zama

2 hours before block: Bishopric / Branch Presidency Meeting (0:30)
1.5 hours before block: Ward / Branch Council Meeting (1:00)
Sacrament Meeting at normally scheduled time
2nd hour meetings at normally scheduled time
30 minutes after block: ministering visits (max 2:00)

Preparation

The stake will be in touch with each unit several weeks before each scheduled event. Stake leaders will coordinate with the different ward/branch organizations to plan the second hour meetings.

Ward/branch conferences are currently planned to be held in person.

Each unit’s leaders should ensure that all relevant meetings are included in their unit calendar.
